Let’s face it society has it so that if someone open’s there mouth and you see broken teeth that are rotting, or a mouth full of missing teeth you are instantly turned off. Because our teeth are something very noticeable its very important to take care of. Fortunately there are many services out there were we can get dental work done for free or very low cost.

Dental Schools should be the first place you look into. Most dental schools provide their services free of charge and only ask that you pay for the supplies used and these supplies come at a very heavily discounted price. The way to go about this is locating a dental school in your area and calling to find out which services they offer. Many even offer orthodontia very cheaply or even free. You will want to make sure you call around though as some universities offer free while others offer reduced. Book your appointments quickly and make sure you keep them as these slots fill up quickly.

Another good place to start is http://www.freemedicalcamps.com/ this website offers a database of free medical clinics. Click on your state and then cities close to you to find out if your area has a free medical clinic that is willing to help you. I checked out there website and found none in my local area but at least 12 providers in a neighboring city.

You will also want to check out HRSA @ http://bphc.hrsa.gov/ click on find a health center on the right hand side of the page to see if your area has a low cost clinic in the area.

Another tip is to Google, always Google what you are looking for: For Examples: Free Orthodontic Care, Free Braces, Free Dental Care, Free Dental Work, Add your state to the search to find doctors in your area that do pro bono work.
